The Cajun Conjuror
The Cajun Conjuror is the pseudonym of a mystic from the Acadiana region of Louisiana. He started his mystical journey in 1999 and became increasingly involved in the greater pagan community in 2005. In 2007, he graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a minor in Religious Studies.
He is one of the founding members and current vice president of the Acadiana Spiritual Association, a federally-recognized charity organization of individuals who practice alternative spiritualities which ascribe to common values and goals for the betterment of themselves and their local religious, social, political, familial, and work communities. Through the Acadiana Spiritual Association, he heads monthly symposiums on spiritual topics and speaks to various groups throughout the southern Louisiana region promoting religious tolerance and fostering spiritual growth.
In 2013, he began taking formal courses in the Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot system and began teaching classes in 2016. As a Louisiana-certified secondary education teacher with 17+ years of experience in the public school system, he designed a tarot course curriculum and a Mastery of Divination degree track through the Acadiana Spiritual Academy. He is currently working on his Tarot for Beginners Workbook, comprised of worksheets and activities to get people familiar with the cards, read for themselves and others, and track their progress and understanding.
In his own private practice, he is one of the founding members of the Arcani, an exclusive spiritual fraternal organization in the area that practices a form of magic known as Hermeticism. He is also the leader of the group Septenarii which follows the religion known as Malachianism.
